Women have always recognized the value of relationships — in the home, in the workplace, and in the community. Now they can use their relationships to shape their philanthropy.

The goal of the WPN is a bold one:  RAISE $100,000 ANNUALLY!

Each year, 80% of the membership dues will be used as “now” money for one major project; 20% will be deposited into an endowment account to benefit future generations. Because the WPN is an advised fund of The Community Foundation of Shreveport-Bossier, the Foundation will oversee the endowment and will assist with administrative duties

Through the WPN, women can:

• Create new solutions to old problems.
• Serve as a catalyst for positive community change.
• Connect with the projects they fund.
• Collaborate with others to avoid duplication, competition and waste.
• Celebrate their accomplishments and have fun with philanthropy.
